It depends when and why you had the scan.
If you’ve had a scan such as a CAT scan, x-ray, PET scan, MRI, angiogram or ultrasound to investigate symptoms, you’ll need to wait until you get your results. If the results are normal and you’re well, you can donate again. If the results are abnormal, you’ll need to double check. You can either call us on 13 14 95 or check the FAQ related to your result.
For routine scans (like a mammogram in women over 50), you can donate straight away, even if you don’t have your results yet. But if the results come back as abnormal, you’ll need to contact us to chat about it.
