It depends on the cause of the diarrhoea.
If you have food poisoning or a viral bug, wait one week after you’ve recovered to make sure you’re well enough to donate.
If it’s bacterial, you’ll need to wait longer — four weeks after recovering. And then, if you had a Yersinia infection, you’ll only be able to give plasma until a stool test shows you aren’t infected anymore.
