There’s nothing like that feeling of knowing you’ve made a difference. When your generosity has an impact and your donation could save up to three lives. It’s all in the act of giving blood.
Lifeblood needs more than 1.7 million donations every year to meet the demand for blood and blood products, and you can help us reach our goal by booking a donation. Give blood before 8 September and flex your donor status with a limited-edition bandage designed by Olympian and Indigenous artist, Brad Hore.
Not a donor yet? Take this quiz to see if you can donate.
Brad Hore is a two-time Olympian, motivational speaker, Indigenous Olympic advisor, Indigenous artist and First Nations Capability Diversity, People and Culture Advisor for the Australian Sports Commission. Art wasn’t something Brad was always interested in, but when COVID-19 hit and his mental health struggled, art became a way to provide a precision-type focus and connect to Country. Today, Brad’s digital and canvas artworks can be found in government sporting bodies, universities, on apparel and uniforms, in businesses and countless peoples’ homes.
“This artwork honours the 60 known Indigenous athletes who have encouraged mob and community to give back and believe in something bigger. It also represents those coming to give blood to those who need the support of others; the transfer and gift of life itself. It’s the dedication, honour and heart that inspires us to do more and give more. With the support of community behind us, we are capable of anything, including saving the lives of others.”

You’ve flexed the bright and bold bandage on your arm and wish you could have more of Brad’s incredible artwork in your life? We’ve got you. Join our competition following the instructions below to win a limited-edition tote bag, bandana and signed print by Brad Hore.
