Marijke's passion is translating numbers into stories and she collaborates with Lifeblood researchers to use the best statistical practice possible for their research. Being an applied statistician, she has collaborated across many research domains ranging from environmental sciences, to sport and exercise, to social and health sciences. This breadth of experience has given her extensive expertise in good statistical practice which she now applies within Lifeblood.

As a long-time plasma donor, Marijke is excited to be working on the inside of the organisation and assist in further the understanding of keeping our donors healthy and our products safe.
