Face masks are no longer mandatory at donor centres in line with other lower risk settings. However, you can still wear a face mask if you prefer.
Where there is significant community transmission, we strongly encourage our donors to wear a medical mask such as a single use surgical mask when they donate, as cloth masks can vary in effectiveness. We can provide you with a surgical mask if you do not have one.
