Queensland and northern NSW floods: how you can help

With so many affected by heavy rains and flooding in Queensland and northern New South Wales, we really hope you’re all OK out there.

What Lismore and surrounding areas have experienced is immeasurably devastating. Our thoughts, love and sympathy are with you and everyone in the region right now. 

The Lismore Donor Centre was lost, but we want to assure you that we will be back in Lismore. We plan to rebuild in the same place but, of course, as with all of Lismore, it will take some time.

In the meantime, we will be working at our Ballina pop-up donor centre for a few months. And it will be the same team you usually see at Lismore. For now it will be blood only, no plasma, but if you're in the Robina, Southport or Coffs Harbour areas you can always donate plasma with the friendly teams at those centres.

If you are elsewhere in Australia and feeling well, we’d love you to put a blood donation on your to-do list this week. Find a time slot that suits you and we’ll see you there, with snacks!
