Eligibility for a t-shirt
This offer is available to donors that attend a booked donation appointment with the intention to donate whole blood, plasma or platelets at participating CBD donor centres during their promotional period, and are opted in to Lifeblood gifts. Centres and dates are listed below:
Perth Donor Centre October 25–31
Adelaide (Regent Arcade) Donor Centre October 29 to November 4
Melbourne CBD Donor Centre November 1–7
Brisbane Donor Centre November 5–11
Sydney Town Hall and York Street Donor Centres November 8–14
Eligibility for this t-shirt promotion is separate from the Lifeblood Gifts program. Donors do not need to meet the Lifeblood Gifts eligibility criteria to receive a t-shirt.
If a Lifeblood Team Champion books a group donation for their team at a participating donor centre during the promotional times and attends with the group, they are also eligible for a t-shirt.
Redeeming your donation for a Metallica x Lifeblood t-shirt
T-shirts will be given to eligible donors in-centre on arrival at the participating donor centre. Only one T-shirt may be redeemed per donor during the promotional period.
Lifeblood does not guarantee that a t-shirt will be available, and t-shirt sizes are allocated on a “first come first served” basis, while stocks last. If a t-shirt is damaged or is faulty, we will try to replace the t-shirt, if stock is available. Lifeblood cannot offer cash instead of a t-shirt even if a t-shirt is unavailable or is damaged.
Duration of Metallica x Lifeblood promotion
The Metallica x Lifeblood promotion is scheduled to run from 25 October 2025 – 14 November 2025. Metallica and Lifeblood may extend, shorten, or discontinue the promotion at any time at their discretion.
Offer subject to availability of appointments during the promotional period at participating Donor Centres. This offer is not transferrable and no substitutions are available.

Lifeblood may collect personal information from you for the purpose of facilitating the Metallica x Lifeblood promotion or providing gifts. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Lifeblood’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website.
