These Terms and Conditions apply to registrations for and attendance at events organised or hosted by Australian Red Cross Lifeblood (Lifeblood), including partnership events, stakeholder forums, roundtables, workshops and similar events.
By registering for or attending a Lifeblood event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2.1. Registration is subject to availability and Lifeblood may accept or decline registrations at its discretion.
2.2. Event invitations are personal to the invitee unless otherwise agreed by Lifeblood.
2.3 Attendees must provide accurate and complete registration information.
2.4 Lifeblood reserves the right to limit attendance numbers and manage participation as required.
3.1 Lifeblood may change the event programme, speakers, venue, date, timing or format where reasonably necessary.
3.2 Lifeblood may postpone, reschedule or cancel an event at its discretion.
3.3. Lifeblood will endeavour to notify registered attendees of any material changes to an event as soon as practicable.
4.1. Photography, video recording and audio recording may occur during the event.
4.2. By attending the event, attendees acknowledge that their image, likeness, voice and participation may be captured in photographs, recordings or other media.
4.3. Attendees consent to Lifeblood using, reproducing, publishing and communicating such photographs and recordings for promotional, educational, reporting, partnership engagement and other organisational purposes, including on websites, social media channels, publications, presentations and marketing materials.
4.4. No compensation will be payable for such use.
4.5. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should notify Lifeblood before the event. Lifeblood will take reasonable steps to accommodate such requests.

6.1. Lifeblood may contact you from time to time with information about Lifeblood, our content, events, partnership initiatives and other activities that may be of interest to you, where you have agreed to receive these communications.
6.2. You can opt out of receiving marketing or promotional communications from Lifeblood at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication or by contacting the Lifeblood team.
7.1. Lifeblood events may involve discussion, knowledge sharing and collaboration between attendees.
7.2. Attendees acknowledge that information, experiences, opinions and insights may be shared by other participants during the event.
7.3. Attendees must not publicly attribute comments, opinions or information shared by another participant or organisation without that participant's or organisation's consent.
7.4. Lifeblood may compile and distribute post-event summaries, insights or learnings arising from the event, provided individual participants or organisations are not identified without their consent.
7.5. Attendees remain responsible for any information they choose to disclose during discussions, networking activities or other event interactions.
8.1. Attendees must comply with all reasonable directions given by Lifeblood, venue operators and authorised event personnel.
8.2. Attendees must behave in a professional, respectful and inclusive manner.
8.3. Attendees must not engage in conduct that is unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, intimidating, discriminatory, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the event.
8.4. Lifeblood reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from an event, any attendee whose conduct is considered inappropriate or poses a risk to the health, safety or wellbeing of others.
8.5. Attendees are responsible for notifying Lifeblood of any relevant accessibility or dietary requirements prior to the event.
9.1. Any presentations, materials, documents or information provided by Lifeblood in connection with the event are provided for information purposes only.
9.2. All intellectual property rights in event materials remain the property of Lifeblood or the relevant rights holder.
9.3. Attendees must not reproduce, distribute or publish event materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
10.1. To the extent permitted by law, Lifeblood will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from attendance at or participation in an event.
10.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
11.2. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Lifeblood collects your personal information to register you for this event, communicate with you about event arrangements and improve future events. This may include your contact details, organisation, dietary or accessibility requirements and other information you provide when registering.
We may share your information with service providers who help us deliver the event, such as venues, caterers and technology providers.
Photography and filming may occur during the event. Images and recordings may be used by Lifeblood for promotional, reporting and partnership-related purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please let us know before the event.
