Science doesn’t stand still and at Lifeblood, neither do we.
To keep building on our contribution to healthcare, we need to keep moving forward; discovering new ways to improve what we do and how we do it. From the experience and safety of our donors to the health and wellbeing of the Australians who rely on their donations, our work will help us improve the products and services we provide to the Australian community.
That’s where you come in.
By helping out at the Innovation Development Centre (IDC), your blood, thoughts, ideas and opinions will be the cornerstone of advancing our contribution to healthcare.
You could be helping with:
- clinical studies
- improving the experience for other donors
- testing new equipment
- creating new life-giving products, and
- improving collection and processing techniques.
You’re at the forefront of something completely ground-breaking for Lifeblood, giving back to your community in a way no blood donor has been able to before. You’ll be helping Australians of today, tomorrow, and for decades to come.
You’ll still be giving life. Just in a way you may never have expected.
Donating your blood at IDC will be the same as donating at any other Lifeblood donor centre. If you’ve never given blood, platelets or plasma before, don’t worry. The team will be with you every step of the way.
