Larissa helps to ensure that all research conducted at Lifeblood is ethical, by advising our researchers on ethical issues related to their projects, coordinating the work done by our Ethics Committee, and keeping our ethics policies and procedures up to date.
Larissa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology and a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of New South Wales. She has lectured and tutored in a range of subjects, including history of medicine. Before coming to Lifeblood, she was a member of a Human Research Ethics Committee and an Animal Ethics Committee at the University of Sydney.
