You may be able to give blood - heart condition

You may be able to give blood (we just need some more info)

Depending on what your heart condition is and when you last showed symptoms, you may be able to donate blood.

It’s important to look out for your health. You’ll need to go six months with no symptoms to give blood if you had a heart attack, angina, ischaemic heart disease or coronary artery, or heart surgery.

If you’ve had more than one heart attack, you won’t be able to donate. If you have arrhythmia, check with us on 13 14 95.
