You may be able to give blood - heart condition

You may be able to give blood (we just need some more info)

Depending on what your heart condition is and when you last showed symptoms, you may be able to donate blood.

It’s important to look out for your health. If you’ve had a heart attack, angina, ischaemic heart disease, coronary artery disease, or heart surgery, you’ll need to go six months with no symptoms and get a form filled out by your doctor giving you the all-clear before you can donate. It’s best to give us a call on 13 14 95 to work out which form you need.

If you’ve had more than one heart attack, you won’t be able to donate.

If you have or have had arrhythmia, check with us on 13 14 95.
