Local Government Blood Challenge

Local Government Blood Challenge

Local Government Blood Challenge: 1 July – 30 September.

Are you ready for the Local Government Blood Challenge?

It's set to be a big one.

Just give blood or plasma between 1 July and 30 September to get involved.

Much like last year, the competition will be split into two. Councils and Shires will compete in their own race and all other Local Government Teams will compete against each other.

We’re expecting competition to be fierce, with Lifeblood Teams across the country warming up to save the most lives.

Councils and Shires can get a spot on the podium in one of four categories:

  1. Most donations
  2. Most new donors
  3. Most plasma donations
  4. Highest year-on-year growthIllustration of four people standing next to a blood drop

And Local Government Lifeblood Teams can get a spot on the podium in the same four categories:

  1. Most donations
  2. Most new donors
  3. Most plasma donations
  4. Highest year-on-year growth
